Creating a buzz about backyard office space

The Abode launched during the heart of the pandemic. Their flexible backyard offices provide a defined additional space to step into, and then step away, separating work and home life. Our goal for this new business was to create greater awareness with a wider audience. We refined their story, crafted a press release highlighting key selling features, and targeted media in the greater Toronto area. Coverage included stories in Toronto Life, West in the City Magazine, Niagara Life and the Toronto Guardian, resulting in direct sales.

Engaging members in a new strategic plan

What often happens with a Strategic Plan is that it is launched and then forgotten. The Realtors Association of Edmonton and its Board had worked hard to create a new Strategic Plan based on feedback from members and future direction. Working with our strategic business partner tng leaders, Key Communications provided coaching and direction to establish a six-month rollout plan using a variety of tactics, tools and voices, which included all Board Members. This regular cadence of communications has kept it top-of-mind, creating awareness and understanding of the pillars of the Strategic Plan with members.

Connecting leadership during transition

With the search for a new CEO underway, the volunteer Board at the Canadian Society of Safety Engineering was taxed with continuing the journey to re-establish the Association as a credible voice for health and safety. Key Communications acted as a conduit to keep the Board together, connected and on track - with regular meetings and touch-points. We kept members informed by managing internal messaging, social media and major meetings. In the end, a number of major milestones were achieved, helping to set the association on the path for future success.
